I, Linda, went vending in various locations and events not limiting myself to pow wows or aboriginal events. Each culture has an indigenous background it was important that we share ours with others and theirs with us.
Our small business is traditional first nation apparel, jewelry and decorative art work. Made by us or our relatives throughout Ontario. As it grows so do our items we make by hand.
Dreamcatchers have fascinated me since I was young and the many stories told how they came about; depending on which area they originated from. It all came to this point. Good dreams pass through the webbing and bad dreams get knotted up. When the sun touches the knots, they vanish.
Note: Due to the medicinal properties, earrings are not to be worn when substances are involved as I use sinew for authenticity purposes but artificial sinew can be provided or thread.
